MQUETTE – Pioneering the Future of Sleep and Design

In 2020, we embarked on an exciting journey with MQUETTE, a bold new venture under the visionary leadership of an investor from a successful clothing brand. They sought to disrupt the mattress industry with a concept that would blend cutting-edge technology, high-end design, and sustainability into a cohesive new product line.

Given a completely free brief, the design team embraced the challenge and brought to life an innovative, tech-forward mattress and bedding collection. Drawing inspiration from futuristic aesthetics, such as the iconic TRON movie—significant to both the project’s ethos and my personal history—MQUETTE was born. The result is a brand dedicated to smart functionality and exceptional design, with products that incorporate advanced technologies into everyday sleep solutions.

The MQUETTE Collection:

• Smart Beds & Technology: We developed beds that don’t just support sleep, but enhance it with smart mattress technology. These innovations include features like temperature regulation, adjustable firmness, and digital connectivity that can track sleep cycles and optimize comfort based on individual needs.

• Acrylic & Illuminated Beds: The use of modern acrylic materials allows for a striking, visually stimulating look. The illuminated acrylic beds create an almost futuristic ambiance while serving as functional pieces of furniture.

• Smart Textiles: We took smart fabrics and materials to the next level, designing textile systems that interact with the bed’s technology to enhance comfort and health. These textiles include advanced fabrics with built-in sensors to optimize the user experience.

• Custom Showrooms and Brand Identity: The development didn’t stop at the products; we crafted an entire showroom and brand experience that reflects the futuristic and high-tech essence of MQUETTE. This included immersive displays where potential customers can interact with the technology and feel the innovations firsthand.
