On March 16, 2025, during the 53rd International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan), MASH Designs’ "Autumn Collection Bedroom" and "Letty Wine Cabinet" for GIOIA won the "Space Aesthetics (Bedroom)" and "Product Design Star Award (Cabinet Category)" respectively at the Golden Wing Awards. These accolades highlight MASH’s innovative strength in smart furniture and validate its philosophy of "harmony between nature and technology."
The "Autumn Collection Bedroom" features maple wood grids, warm orange art paint, and smart lighting with adjustable spectra to mimic sunrise-to-sunset transitions. A built-in humidifier and aromatherapy system, connected via IoT to the smart mattress, create a multisensory sleep environment. Judge Ricky Wong praised: "This design seamlessly merges nature and technology for a warm, immersive experience."
The "Letty Wine Cabinet" combines nano-tempered glass, rose gold metal frames, and hidden LED lighting to create dynamic light refractions. A smart humidity system and UV protection ensure optimal wine storage. Judge Vincent Yu noted: "The Art Deco-meets-tech design transforms functionality into art."
"Design should solve problems while infusing spaces with emotion," said MASH Creative Director Matt Arquette. The bedroom uses eco-friendly recycled materials and modular structures, while the wine cabinet’s rotating rack and touchscreen enable "one-touch wine cellar mode." Both designs hold international patents.
Market success follows: the Autumn Collection generated ¥8 million in sales in its first month, and Letty Wine Cabinet secured 200 orders. GIOIA plans to expand to New York and Tokyo, leveraging these awards for global growth.
Future collaborations include a "Four Seasons" bedroom line, smart home ecosystem, and Art Deco-themed furniture with a wine culture app, continuing MASH’s vision of "design + tech + culture." Check out More Client Projects!
